Different Stages in Rice Plantation 7 & 8 Harvested Rice and Rice-fields to Rest (Edit)

Hopefully the farmers will have earned enough for their hard work..

Most farming crops depend on Market prices, so does the rice..
Market(s) has no heart or conscience towards the farmers, workers and families..

It happened that even highly encouraged new plantations in Thailand's regions created more losses and disappointments than gain for lots of farmers believing they would get a better lifestyle..

Example: Disappointments and losses happened a few years ago with rubber trees, which was rather beneficial to the really big producers, rather than the more modest farmers with smaller lands, finances and means..

Let's hope it won't happen with palm trees for oil which is a big venture nowadays in Thailand vs importing oil for energy..

Another tendency of the markets, is that almost every year before harvesting times, the markets are high for most crops, ginger, tropical fruits like lamyai (longan), Mamuang (mangoes) most crops..

Before harvesting, but prices highly drop down while farmers are harvesting and before selling..

Selling crops may become like gambling and some will sell cheap right away, while some others will wait hoping for better prices to raise..

(Hopefully before decay and waste of crops) (Some crops can be stored a few months)..
